Sunday, February 05, 2006 Which sex are you It was a wonderful day with lots of friendly people, a beautiful bride and a blushing bridegroom (at least after the speeches) I took the opportunity to give the kilt an outing. There was some great country dancing with a caller. It was an absolute hoot. We were not very good although this was aided by the mix of people dancing. When the caller says "Now the man swings the woman" and your group consists of one married couple, one lesbian couple and two gay couples things tend to get rather confusing. Still a brilliant time was had by all! Labels: Fun |

I was first elected as a Liberal Democrat councillor in 1992 and was re-elected on three further occasions before standing down in 2003. I was Chair of Newbury Constituency during the by-election in 1993. I have stood for Parliament at each of the last three elections.

When at uni I was in the English Folk Dance Society and we (unusually) had more men than women...
It was quite disconcerting dancing with a 'woman' with a beard...
It was great fun and I had had a fair bit to drink but the caller would have been better sticking to numbers and letters
