Elections tomorrow - Uncertainty continues
The general election in Thailand is tomorrow and it looks as if this may leave the country no nearer to resolving the political crisis. The Prime Minister seems determined to stay on providing he believes that he has a mandate. The election or at least parts of it may be declared unconstitutional. This means that the lower house may not be able to sit as not all 500 seats will be filled. As I understand it the lower house is the body that will elect the prime minister and form the government and for this to happen all seats must be filled! Interesting times.
