Prescott to give up Dorneywood
Just heard this on Sky News. So a house and a few croquet mallets have been thrown to the circling pack. What remains to be seen is whether this will be enough for the parliamentary party to call off the dogs.
Ack! I had looked forward to seeing the poodles and little people playing chess pieces on the lawn as this government slid further into the offensive decadence of eighteenth century Ancien Regime France...:)
